No, Really

After taking some much deserved flak for slacking over at the other site the past few days, we try to go back to posting our typical *quality* content over there today and have found that the server is acting up with us.

Don't worry - nothing's wrong with FishStripes. We're just having some server issues. Everything should be back to normal shortly - even if you can't get to the site right now. There's even new content today, including a series preview, clips from the papers, and me rambling about a "nothing" game.

    Yeah - I think you're right.

    There was just an email exchange going around saying that it was getting slow again. Now it seems to be dead.

    I think I'm going to focus less on the Fish for the rest of the night and catch some of the Braves-DBacks and Yanks-Angels.

    I'm a little bummed. Despite my lack of participation this week, things had been picking up. We've got some new commenters and lurkers. But the site has effectively been down for two days. That sucks. I hope everyone sticks around.

    Sounds like a good plan.

    My only guess/hope is that the server issues are a result of the SBNation sites collectively having seen a spike in traffic recently - and that the server(s) can't keep up with it.
